Alabama Avenue (J, Z)

It makes sense to get off at this stop if you work at the MTA facility next to it.

But other than that, there is not a lot happening around here. It’s a car and construction zone.

At best, you’ll find some street art under the elevated subway tracks … but that’s about it.

But there’s one exception:

Sweets & Things, on Fulton a couple blocks in the direction of the next stop, Van Siclen JZ.

It’s got some of the best tres leches cake in town, and its vibe looks like its been airlifted out of SoHo or West Village.
