DeKalb Avenue (B, Q, R)
This stop is meh on the outside, but cool on the inside.
You’ll pop out at a car-heavy intersection with uninspiring large buildings around, but if you poke around you can have a good time.
Try a concert at the Brooklyn Paramount (again, meh on the outside but beautiful on the inside).
Or, visit Dekalb Market Hall, an indoor collection of vendors big and small. It’s like a nicer version of Chelsea Market. There’s even a McNally Jackson and a Trader Joe’s inside!
There’s also a Junior’s Cheesecake off this stop (famous for its Times Square locations).
Inside Dekalb Market Hall.
The contrast between the inside and outside aesthetic of the Brooklyn Paramount is extreme.
Junior’s off this stop.
