Welcome to Ocean Hill, the eastern section of Bed-Stuy.

Ocean Hill is a primarily residential area. There are a lot of Black folk, young and old, hanging out on stoops and outside barbershops, delis, and the like.

For a residential walking tour: Start on Herkimer St, then weave through Marconi Pl, Gunther Pl, Pleasant Pl, Monaco Pl, etc for a nice row-house residential walk.

All Night Skate: This one’s profiled on Chauncey JZ, but it’s a straight shot north on Rockaway Ave from this station.
